Due to overwhelming demand, Elton has added a second date at Amsterdam’s Ziggo Dome on June 8, 2019 and a second show at Munich’s Olympiahalle on July 5, 2019 as part of his Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour.

Tickets go on general sale this Friday at 10 a.m. The second Amsterdam and Munich concert have been added after the initial dates – announced as part of Elton’s epic final tour announcement at Gotham Hall in New York in January- sold out immediately.

Starting in Vienna on the second of May in 2019, the first European Farewell Yellow Brick Road engagements will hit Poland, Czech Republic, Germany, Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Belgium, Republic of Ireland and Switzerland.

“I want to thank my extraordinary fans for their overwhelming support throughout my career and especially their interest in being there to celebrate my final Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour,” said Elton. “I am so excited for the start of the tour and can’t wait to see everybody on the road.”

Kicking off in the U.S. on September 8, 2018, the Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour will consist of more than 300 shows across five continents, hitting North America, Europe, Asia, South America and Australasia before reaching its conclusion in 2021. A press release says that Elton’s new stage production aims to take his fans on a musical and highly visual journey spanning a 50-year career of hits like no one has ever seen before.
